MultiCut Types
MultiCut Urea (Type II)
As a more aggressive media, Multi Cut II is effective for a wide variety of applications. It has a hardness of 3.5 Mohs and is a fast and efficient stripping media. The jagged cut design enables operators to use less media than other brands to remove the same amount of paint.
MultiCut Acrylic (Type V)
MultiCut V is designed to be used at a pressure setting of 30 p.s.i. Fast and efficient, it is an excellent paint remover for aviation and automotive applications. The media colour is white to light grey.
MultiCut Polycarbonate (Type VI)
As a less aggressive media, MultiCut VI is effective for soft abrasive applications. It has hardness of 3.0 Mohs and works well on softer substrates such a aluminum, composites, fiberglass and similar materials. The media is white to light grey in colour.
MultiCut Acrylic Continuous Cast (Type L)
This continuous cast acrylic media is usually transparent light grey. The colour makes it easier to determine the difference between media and paint when blasting. This high quality media is recommended for aerospace applications.

MultiCut Features
Tested and Proven
Poly-Pacific's products have proven themselves in extensive testing by military and commercial agencies. Because of its jagged particle structure, MultiCut exceeds by nearly five times the paint stripping rate required by the U.S. Military Standard. MIL-P-85891 (AS)
Consistent Quality
Media is manufactured to the highest quality standards of hardness, size, composition and cleanliness. Quality assurance program includes dense particle analysis, size conformity, water absorption, iron and copper detection, Barcol hardness and static testing. Poly-Pacific is dedicated to providing solutions to individual customer needs and to continuous research on field applications.
Environmentally Safe
Methylene chloride/phenol-based formulations are being abandoned in favour of dry media paint stripping. Poly-Pacific's products are proven to be the environmentally effectivealternative to chemical stripping. All Poly-Pacific's products are free from dust, product impurities and contaminants, allowing a healthier work environment.
Plastic Media Blasting
MultiCut is ideal for dry stripping operations. The dry stripping process removes coatings without damage from a wide variety of surfaces. Poly-Pacific's sharp-edged plastic granules are propelled, recovered, cleaned and reused for rapid paint removal.
